Customer Service Representative - PQ

Job Description

  1. Diligently process  EDI, fax and email orders through  Oracle  according to specific requirements and advise customers of any stock shortages.
  2. Professionally and efficiently manage phone enquiries from both internal and external customers.
  3. Liaise with warehouse and logistics to manage stock levels and to ensure on time deliveries.
  4. Provide a high level of service and responsiveness with all enquiries including but not limited to order and delivery  follow up, product availability, pricing, invoicing queries, disputes or discrepancies.
  5. Work directly and collaboratively with Sales, Service, technical team and other internal support to resolve and/or escalate customer issues and concerns.
  6. Follow up with key customer concerns and aim for satisfactory solutions from both the company’s and customer’s viewpoint
  7. Develop sound knowledge of the company’s products, policies and standards.
  8. Work in a team environment to achieve division’s sales and margin objectives.
  9. Any other job related duties that may be requested from time to time.
  10. Be aware of the company’s and your own obligations under the Occupational Health and Safety Regulations

Exceptional verbal and written Communication skills
Organizational skills, along with a great ability to prioritize work and handle multitasking
Professional work approach, the ability to take ownership of the process.
Strong attention to detail and comfortable handling conflicting deadlines
Computer skills (eg Excel, Word, Outlook and SAP, Oracle)
Previous experience in an internal sales role taking calls and answering email inquiries
Results orientated
Electrical Degree Preferred.
