Job Description

To manage awarded and potential projects of New Product Development,  Lines Transfers and Major Changes in existing products.

To manage and direct all the activities encompassed with his assigned projects.

Flawless launch of projects (timing, budget, capital, inventory, customer satisfaction)

Lead the respective Project Teams in satisfying key deliverables and timing to ensure a successful PSW to the customer.

Assist in identifying and implementing the training and developmental need of project Team members and product Engineer.

Assist in identifying areas for Continuous Improvement of Project Team effectiveness and efficiency.

Champion of Product Launch process in Aguascalientes Plant and participant in Operations Assessment  of Product Launch

Participate in Management Project Reviews within the framework of Eaton’s Product Launch

Act as the customer liaison during the development, trial and launch phases of projects, to ensure customer expectations and deliverables are satisfied.  

Lead  and coordinate the development of RFC

Facilitate activity targeted at achieving incremental & breakthrough improvement using methods such as Six Sigma,  value engineering/value analysis, etc.

Comply with requirements of Quality Management Systems.

Facilitates MCO process in the site through Change Coordinator and proper communication & escalation.

 

 

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering or equivalent experience required

5 Years experience in an automotive  manufacturing environment

PMP certification (preferred)

Knowledge of manufacturing and engineering processes (APQP, IATF)

Strong interpersonal communications and leadership skills.

Basic understanding of Financial systems and ability to discern issues.

Bilingual (Spanish/English)
