Job Description

Eaton’s Lighting Division is currently seeking an Associate Product Manager to join our team. This position is based at our Peachtree City, GA facility.
The Associate Product Manager will work closely with Connected Buildings Product Managers/Directors to implement a multi-generational product roadmap that will enable Eaton to have superior connected lighting value propositions for commercial segment customers.
The measure of success is implementation of the plan and growth in revenue and profitability over planned period.    Working with cross functional teams to develop new products in line with product technology roadmaps to achieve cost targets, revenue, and profitability expectations. Manages new product introductions into the marketplace along with the oversight of legacy product portfolio. Supports internal & external customers on any product line issues.

  • You will be responsible for New Product Development; Assisting in MGPP roadmap / Strategic planning, determining market requirements / customer wants & needs / identifying value propositions
  • You will provide competitive analysis / competitive cross-references
  • You will create of product literature / marketing collateral
  • You will be responsible for product portfolio management; SKU reconciliation, Complexity management, Website / Product literature maintenance / Spec sheet updates
  • You will be responsible for product training for sales teams / customer service teams / The Source / Agents / Customers
  • You will support quality / delivery / post sales issues
  • You will provide technical support as required for customers / Agents / internal teams
  • You will be responsible for operations / supply chain support including inventory reduction support, cost-out initiatives and product deviation requests (PDR) support / follow up

Required (Basic) Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of 3 years in Product Management; Project Management; Marketing; Product Development; Sales; or Supply Chain experience
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position.  Only candidates that currently reside within the immediate geographical area of Peachtree City, GA will be considered.
  • MBA degree from an accredited institution
  • Experience in marketing and collateral development, including specification and technical writing
  • Experience in customer meeting and presentations
  • 3+ years of experience in the lighting or electronics industries
