Eaton’s HR Services organization is currently seeking a Senior Compensation Analyst to join our team.
 
This position is based at our Beachwood, OH facility.  The Senior Compensation Analyst is responsible for executing on client requests in a timely manner related to compensation offers, promotions and wage analyses -- leveraging tools, guidelines and standards established by the corporate compensation Center of Expertise.  You will provide a superior customer experience by: engaging with clients, setting expectations, and following through on requests within established service level and quality standards and timeframes.

  • You will provide sound analysis related to compensation matters for our clients to ensure a consistent approach.
  • You will analyze large data sets to identify trends and make appropriate compensation recommendations for both internal and external equity.
  • You will execute job offer proposals and internal comparator analysis to support compensation decisions, using market data as needed.
  • You will ensure that positions are appropriately coded using a variety of compensation survey sources and HAY methodology, and provide expert guidance as needed.
  • You will provide guidance to supported sites on local wage structures, using internal and external survey data.
  • You will participate in continuous improvement activities.

Qualifications

Required (Basic) Qualifications:
  • Bachelor ‘s degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum 3 years of work experience in Human Resources, compensation or finance
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position.  Only candidates that currently reside within the immediate geographical area of Beachwood, OH will be considered.
     
  • HR Generalist experience within a manufacturing environment
  • Customer service function/department experience
  • Process improvement and metrics experience
  • Experience working with a remote workforce and in a remote team
     
Position Success Criteria :
  • Master’s degree  from an accredited institution
