IT Manager SAP QTC   

 

Location: Hungary OR any EMEA location

 

The IT Manager works within the SAP COE team and alongside other IT COEs and with business and functional leadership to invoke standard business processes through the implementation of our common ERP systems – namely Unity SAP.

 

The Manager will lead a team of analysts that covers the QTC (Quote to Cash) process – including the Quotation process, the Sales process including pricing, the Shipping process, the Billing process and all related master data. Also covered by the QTC Manager and team will be the Customer Services (CS) Module of SAP – covering Installed Base Master Data (Functional Locations and Equipment), Service Contracts, Service Planning, Service Notifications, Service Orders and their scheduling, through to the Billing process (both Periodic Billing and Resource Related Billing).

 

The Manager is involved throughout the full project lifecycle by working alongside the BRMs, Program managers and Project Managers through requirements gathering, analysis of proposed process and/or system changes, management of system changes and testing aligned with the project scope. They will plan and assign tasks to their team of analysts – ensuring all tasks are delivered on-time to the correct level of quality.

 

Essential Functions:

        

  • Manage the QTC and Services Specialists and Analysts – assign tasks and monitor progress against the plan. Coach and mentor as required.
  • Plan tasks and assignments within SAP deployment and enhancement projects. Plan the project assignments for the members of the QTC Team.
  • Meet with decision makers, systems owners, BPOs and end users to define, document, and communicate business, financial, and operations requirements. Identify systems goals and solutions to systems issues.
  • Work in partnership with business users on business requirements, processes, and systems. Provide knowledge and input to the business on the system implications of business process changes. Help to identify consolidated, worldwide target processes.
  • Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, storyboards, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, event lists, business analysis, competitive product analysis, task and workflow analysis, and/or viewpoints.
  • An expert in QTC processes and have knowledge of their configuration in SAP.
  • Previous hands-on ERP configuration experience in the Quote-to-Cash (QTC) and / or Customer Services area of SAP.
  • Complete documentation, lead unit testing, provide integration testing support, and review of business training materials.
  • Effectively use workflow and process diagrams when explaining company-standard QTC and Field Services processes and when capturing business requirements.
  • Demonstrate analytical skills, to critically evaluate the information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a more general understanding, distinguish presented user requests from the underlying true needs, and distinguish solution ideas from requirements.
  • Analyze business requirements, assess alternative solutions, design develop and implement ERP system solutions using Eaton standards.
  • Work with the Global SAP COE and other PRO COE Teams to ensure proposed solutions are lined up with the Global Solution.

  • Assist in scope changes against baseline requirements through application of change control processes and tools.
