Job Description

Be accountable for Talent Acquisition activities for assigned BUs. Focus on working with internal clients, both hiring manager and HR partners to define hiring needs as well as develop and implement cost effective, results oriented recruitment strategies that yield excellent hire. Drive all search and hiring ahead of curve activities to achieve performance measures. i.e. Time to Accept , No of positions ,Cost, Customer Satisfaction etc.
 
Essential functions
 
A. Deliver talent acquisition services to assigned BUs utilizing both internal and external resources to achieve functional KPIs.
  1. Lead the team to handle open position from the respective business unit.
  2. Develop annual goals for the team aligning with global and regional functional objectives and KPIs, conduct regular review on the execution
  3. Be accountable for recruiting performance of assigned area, identify improvement area, potential risk and put action plan in place.
  4. Pilot and practice emerging recruitment channels including social media and Search engine optimization
  5. Manage talent mapping and external talent pipeline building programs/projects
B. Build and maintain strong collaboration with internal clients
  1. Keep updated of hiring forecast of assigned area and determine short term and long term sourcing and research
  2. Strategies.
  3. Go beyond a Req filler to provide consultancy to clients e.g. talent mapping, market intelligence to support hiring decision
  4. Develop appropriate and consistent communications with internal clients to ensure a positive client and candidate experience.
  5. Adopt BPI approach to address improvement area and conduct data/fact based discussion with clients.
C. Responsible for leading and coaching a team and build organizational capability
  1. Staff the team that meet Eaton TAC competence requirement
  2. Manage performance issues
  3. Coach team members on candidate search, hiring cycle management and communication with internal clients
  4. Identify the team’s skill gaps and implement a develop plan approved by manager
  5. Manage tasks assignment
D. Manage processes and policy
  1. Ensure process and policy compliance within responsible BUs
  2. Communicate with and educate the organization on recruiting process and policy
  3. Deploy processes and action plans to execute the talent acquisition strategies
  4. Introduce and incorporate best practices into process with proper documentations
  5. Drive change post-process/policy update
E. Propose, Lead and/or support key talent acquisition projects from project proposal to reporting
 
F. Be super user of recruiting system e.g. BR and job boards and train users in deployment of the tools

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree
  • 8-10 years of experience in a corporate and external recruiting environment. Minimum of 2 year of team management experience
  • Implementation of strategic talent acquisition plan and achievement of KPIs
  • Proven record of collaborating with multiple departments to align goals, resolve issues and ensure customer service
  • Ability to execute by influence at different levels of the organization
  • Perseverance in the face of opposition/lack of knowledge
