Manager Engineering –MD Transmission
Accountable to drive organic growth for Eaton by deploying the product design engineering skills and demonstrate innovation leadership to provide solutions for customer applications
Responsible for the implementation of strategic actions related to identified strategic focus areas
(6 Speed Medium Duty Transmission ,CPE and NPI launches for Global)
Accountable to drive predictive approach and analytical problem solving methodologies to improve the NPI/NTI and Current Product Engineering effectiveness as measured by the Business KPI’s
Identifies, develops and grows new opportunities in products and technologies
Collaborate closely with global and local teams to efficiently develop and implement growth strategies and technical roadmaps for proactively influencing and providing system level solutions
Responsible for developing the technical and organizational talent to drive the objectives for infrastructure and intellectual capability building for MD Transmission products by using relevant organizational processes (example talent acquisition, performance management, Organizational and Technical capability assessment framework)
Efficiently apply the organizational processes to achieve the objectives and outcomes. Continuously look for opportunities to improve the processes by applying LEAN and DMAIC principles.
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Demonstrated experience in leading a technical engineering organization with an experience level of 12-15 years Engineering Design/Product Design/Product Launch.
- Demonstrated experience in influencing the global strategies and results
