Job Description

Develop and execute security strategies, plans, procedures, standards and service levels for
the 4 manufacturing locations in Reynosa.
Maintain a consultant and working relationship with external parties, regulatory agencies,
consultants, contractors, and peer industry counterparts.
Serve as a Company security responsible for all matters relating to the security, protection of
personnel, information, assets and reputation.
Conduct and coordinate complex and/or sensitive investigations involving criminal or unethical
behavior, as well as violations of corporate policy.
Identify and execute the appropriate level of security training and awareness initiatives. Remain
current with innovative industry practices for security management, systems and solutions and
apply best in class practice(s) within the Reynosa locations.
Monitor and advise facility managers regarding threats and trends that may affect the
Company's operations in the Reynosa area.
Maintain oversight of travel security requirements for employees and visitors.
Regularly audit program elements to ensure compliance with corporate security policy and
MESH Security Assessments.
Manage and direct sites in achieving Security targets & objectives. Determine appropriate
leading and lagging indicators to track performance against targets and objectives
Gather and document metrics that measure loss, offense, frequency and severity of security
events and develop actions to mitigate or prevent reoccurrence.
Act as the liaison with the Corporate Security Director regarding International SOS emergency, medical, safety and security events
Participate as a member of the response team for matters involving workplace violence.
Assist with executive protection arrangements for special events.
Executive level leadership meetings, or as required.
Security C-TPAT ownership and compliance with other security programs and certifications
in Mexico.
 Work with site leadership teams and facilities to ensure that all key Security operational controls are implemented and issues are resolved on a timely basis.
Determine the necessary resources and capital to execute all security initiatives to comply with the targets and objectives.

Qualifications

Comprehension of industry, state, and country Security requirements.
Strong organizational and team-building skills
Networking skills to meet similar regional security managers in the Reynosa area.
Adept at utilization of company-wide system for reporting Security data and information
Ability to demonstrate managerial courage (e.g., managing varied interests representing potential conflicts)
Ability to lead and support cross-functional EHS teams
Prior experience or education with an emphasis in security programs management and employee training.
Industrial Engineering Degree or similar
Bilingual Spanish - English
+3 experience years.
Knowledge of Mexican Laws and Regulations.
