You will support the EHS Manager in development, maintenance, and achievement of goals in support of corporate and business group EHS strategic initiatives. Including the development of goals for site manager, leadership team, and front line supervisors to drive EHS culture, compliance, and result.
You will coordinate with the EHS manager and site team to perform site risk assessments and create targets and objectives based on identified key EHS risks.
You will support the coordination of all OSHA compliance programs, including, but not limited to; PPE, Hearing Conservation, Respiratory Protection, Machine Guarding, Lock Out Tag Out, Confined Space, Industrial Powered Trucks, Contractor safety, and Hazard communication.
You will support EHS related projects through coordination and review of cost proposals, engineering designs for compliance with regulations, and management of contractors.
You will support identification, design, implementation of improved safety or environmental measures for work stations, equipment, or other operations in support of continuous improvement.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required.
No relocation benefit provided. Candidates must reside within a 50 mile radius from the Beltsville, MD facility to be considered.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
Tool and Die troubleshooting experience.
