Job Description

Eaton’s Aerospace Group is seeking an Aftermarket Sales Manager for our Northeast Region.The Aftermarket Sales Manager will be responsible for aftermarket sales growth for Eaton Aerospace products and services in assigned Region. Conducts sales activities to achieve performance goals in accordance with marketing and sales plans. Builds close relationships at Eaton sites and with key customers to enhance sales parts and repairs volume. Responsible to profitably grow Eaton business in the Region with multi-product and multi-site proposals. 
  • Meets aftermarket intake goals, activities and strategies for assigned territory in line with corporate intake goals and strategic plan
  • Ability to develop very large proposals across multiple products and sites including cost per flight hour arrangements, present the offering and negotiate a contract
  • Performs competitive analysis, develop competitive positioning papers and matrices, formulates responses to competitive threats and develop new initiatives to grow aftermarket intake and sales. 
  • Calls on key accounts to increase intake and develop deep customer interface and relationship.
  • Strong financial acumen and ability to understand financial models
  • Executes long term strategic plan for the aftermarket in assigned Region.
  • Ability to manage customer relationships while continuously improving Eaton’s reputation. 
  • Comfortable at all levels of the organization and the skill to develop executive relationships with customers
  • Knowledge of commercial aftermarket, aerospace products and how they are used in customer applications.
  • Experience with working with various channel partners to maximize intake and sales to airline customers

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum 5 years Aerospace sales/customer support or Airline purchasing experience
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future
  • This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. ‘Green Card Holder’), Political Asylee, or Refugee
Preferred Qualifications:
  • In depth knowledge of the aerospace market and specifically the aftermarket business and the influences that affect this business segment
  • Knowledge of the USA Airline market and customer base
  • Represents all Eaton Aerospace businesses and products to the Aftermarket Customer in the Region; is the single sales face to the Customer for Eaton.
  • Proven ability to multi-task and handle several high priorities project concurrently while meeting tight deadlines.
  • Results oriented, with excellent influence skills and proven ability to manage cross-functional teams
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to interact positively and effectively with personalities at the business unit, senior Eaton management and customers at all levels
  • Function as company spokesperson at tradeshows, customer visits and media events
  • Excellent Computer skills
  • Experience with airline maintenance or services functions preferred.
  • No relocation offered. Candidates residing in the states of Connecticut, Maryland, New York, Ohio, and Rhode Island preferred.
