Job Description

Eaton Industries (Canada) Company, located in Perth, ON, has an opening for a Summer Intern as an Electrical Assembler within our Modification Centre.

Primary Function:

The successful candidate will work in light assembly within the Perth Modification Centre (“Mod Shop”).

Responsibilities:
• Perform electrical assembly tasks in various work cells
• Perform material handling duties, such as counting and picking components and staging completed assemblies, as needed
• Perform other related duties as assigned in the warehouse, as required
• Perform all job functions with adherence to Eaton’s Philosophy and Values as well as safety and environmental standards

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
• High school diploma required
• Enrolled and returning to an applicable post-secondary program such as Manufacturing Management, Supply Chain Management or Business Management
• Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment an asset
• Candidates must be 18 years of age as of April 30, 2018
• Must be legally allowed to work in Canada without company sponsorship

Position Criteria:
• Experience with Microsoft Office programs is an asset
• Demonstrated ability to work safely with co-workers in a manufacturing environment
• Good problem solving, mathematical skills and troubleshooting ability
