Senior Engineer - Medium Voltage Control Assemblies
Sound knowledge in medium voltage control product, Drives and starter types
Must be proficient in CAD software programs such as AutoCAD, Mechanical Desktop, Inventor, Pro-E, Solidworks, or Ideas. Should be able to create new detail and assembly drawings (mechanical, electrical, or electronic) for new designs of the most complex nature.
Able to demonstrate a solid foundation in mechanical, electrical or electronic principles
Ability to excel as a team player by successfully collaborating with engineering peers as well as cross-functional personnel to ensure custom designs meet customer expectations
Be capable of writing articles for trade and technical publications, presenting papers and preparing patent disclosures.
Possess sound problem solving skills and the ability to analyze product failure issues sufficiently to drive them to root cause
Possess the appropriate project management skills to take the lead position on small to medium development projects
Fluent in written and verbal communication in a global environment
Power Electronics, Embedded systems knowledge, understanding of Electromagnetics and Mechatronics principles would be an added advantage.
EDUCATION: BE/ME in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited Institute.
Experience Required: 7 to 12 years of experience in working on Medium Voltage controls
Knowledge of Lean six sigma. DFSS/DMAIC certification desirable
