Job Description

 

The Key Account Manager will be responsible for managing the TCP/FE business at high potential customers mainly including, Geely, Chery, GAIC and etc., and promoting VG business growth in the region through direct and active contact with above customers and coordination with the local and global Eaton organizations. Target to develop new business of approx. $20M (MY sales) for TCP/FE combined at above key customers.

  • Maintain good relationship with above customers to ensure customer satisfaction at all times. Deploys the customer relationship review (CRR) process and assists in developing action plans to improve customer satisfaction performance.
  • Overall responsibility for meeting the schedule, scope, cost and technical targets for TCP/FE products in the platforms and/or program.
  • Discover customer needs, work with multi-functional teams to propose/develop product, initiate quotes, and offer value propositions to win new business.
  • Leads the development of the regional customer strategy for the annual profit and 5-year strategic plans. Support competitive intelligence efforts, provide marketing input for regional business opportunities, and support the development of value proposition for product/pricing strategies.
  • Provides regional VOC input to Product Development process (PROLaunch).
  • Conduct business practices under established quality systems. Ensure legal, ethical and contractual conditions are maintained with customers.
  • Works effectively with multi-functional (e.g., Marketing, PM, SCM, Engineering) as well as cross-regional teams in NAFTA/APAC/EMEA to pursue new TCP/FE opportunities and deliver results.
  • Support and meet operation target (e.g. DOH, DSO) by providing quality customer demand forecast and ensure on time account receivable.
  • Support all Eaton Business System tasks assigned to the Sales and Marketing function (including ProLaunch, Value Cycle, EBEA, TS, est.)
  • Performs additional functions as required.

Qualifications

·         Good understanding of China market/business trends and intelligence, especially related to chassis and fuel system components.

·         Work experience with high potential customers noted above, and understand basic commercial procedures of these customers.

·         Ability to work autonomously and results oriented;

·         Strong organizational skills and experience.

·         Fluent English communication skills with cross-regional teams in NAFTA, EMEA, APAC countries

·         Demonstrated ability to plan, lead and execute technical development projects with cross functional teams

·         Experience with managing customer relationship

·         BS in Engineering (or similar technical degree)

·         5+ years of experience in automotive industry, prefer chassis and fuel system industry (axle, driveline, fuel tank and/or related components)
