Job Description

The Fuel and Motion Control Systems Division of Eaton’s Aerospace Group, has an opening for a Product Support Engineering Specialist. This position will be based at our Euclid, OH facility.
The Euclid facility has approximately 400 employees and is a leader in the design, development, manufacture and delivery of Aerospace Fuel Pumping components, systems and services to the global aftermarket and OEM markets.
Position Overview:  
As a key member of the Aftermarket Operations Team, the Product Support Engineering Specialist will assist in: Documenting product service performance and developing instructions for continued airworthiness of Eaton products, as well the identification of new sales opportunities. Key objectives will be 1) to ensure that all aftermarket technical documents are released in a timely manner to support the latest configuration pumps and/or Service bulletin initiatives. 2) to identify opportunities to increase sales through evaluation of hardware, 3) identification of opportunities and delivery of technical services.
Essential Responsibilities:
  • Interface between Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) and Aftermarket Sales supporting and driving timely hardware investigation.
  • Work with cross functional groups to resolve in-service product issues.
  • Address customer inquiries regarding in-service products, including, but not limited to, answering/supporting customer product issues, field service, technical questions and technical documentation requests.
  • Coordinate and develop technical documentation provide Instructions for Continued Airworthiness including Service Bulletins or Service Information Letters as necessary for corrective action and Component Maintenance Manuals for new product development.
  • Interface with Product Engineering to support all teardown investigations.  Be the liaison for any special testing or analysis to support in-service issues.
  • Guide and support the Customer Service team with complex warranty disposition and quotation support.  
  • Provide input to Engineering, MRO, and Operations for continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Assist Aftermarket Sales define and develop new upgrade and retrofit opportunities through familiarity with product performance trends.
  • Develop training programs and instruct customer personnel regarding the operation, function repair and preventative maintenance of equipment and systems.


Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology from an accredited institution required.
  • Minimum 3 months of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • No relocation is being provided. Candidates must reside within a 50 mile radius of the Euclid, OH facility to be considered for this role.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
  • This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).  All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR.  ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. ‘Green Card Holder’), Political Asylee, or Refugee.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in an Aerospace environment.
  • Prior experience interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Military/civil maintenance experience.
