Job Description

This position is responsible for managing the sales objectives (Profit Plan) and activities for key OEM customers Changan, Ford, FCA in China, including aftermarket activities. In addition, it will serve as the strong voice of the customer within the organization, as well as a day-to-day spokesman for the company with the customer and keep in good relationship with customers. It will provide the support required to facilitate the introduction of new products and insure availability and OEM engineering.

Develop, implement and manage marketing strategies to support the business plan at key accounts in China. Develop & grow market share, resolve product problems, insure customer satisfaction.  Achieve VT business profit plan objectives in the key account in China.

Discover customer needs, work with R&D to recommend product, develop quotes, and offer value propositions to win new business;

Drive conversion of competitive products to Eaton products in new OEM program specifications. Develop programs to maintain long-term strategic partnerships and establish or increase market share.

Work in cross-disciplinary manner with other departments (e.g., Marketing, Program Management, Engineering, etc.) to assure strong, effective relationships and to promote the sales of VT products.

Conduct business practices under established quality systems. Ensure legal, ethical and contractual conditions are maintained with customers;

Manage sales opportunities through the stages of the selling cycle resulting in improved win rates and improved business cases.

Maintain the strong relationship with the key customer and effectively evaluate customer credit and manage account receiving. Maintain high level of interaction with customers to ensure customer satisfaction at all times. Deploys the customer relationship review (CRR) process and assists in developing action plans to improve customer satisfaction performance;

Support all Eaton Business System tasks assigned to the Sales and Marketing function;

Qualifications

  • Ability to manage customers in multiple locations.
  • Specialized knowledge of automotive industry.
  • Negotiate with cross levels of management at customers and within Eaton.
