Taleo Configuration Analyst assists with technical support activity on Eaton’s Global Recruiting and Onboarding Platform, related procedures, tools, and templates. This position works closely with HR Technology team and the Global Enterprise Talent Acquisition Center of Excellence, and has a direct reporting relationship to IT Technical Analysis & Support, and a functional alignment to HR Technology. This role will implement new functionality for Global Recruiting and Onboarding including: configuration changes, workflow related changes, personalization, new fields, lookup codes, and TCC scripting.
The incumbent’s role will fulfill the following primary objectives:
  • Deliver Taleo configuration expertise to small- through large-sized projects through the entire project lifecycle – from requirements gathering, analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, audit and post-production support.  The expertise demonstrated includes the development of design documents and testing scripts.
  • Leverage his/her knowledge of HR business processes and technology, to evaluate business requests and project solutions and provide ongoing functional support.
  • Leverage his/her technical knowledge of TCC scripting and Taleo back-end database model.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Interacts with other HR Technology team members and Talent Acquisition COEs to implement new system functionality.
  • Responsible for Taleo configuration changes, workflow related changes including the Taleo Onboarding portal (Transitions), personalizations, new fields, lookup codes and TCC scripting.
  • Responsible for maintenance of Taleo to HRMS integrations and providing assistance to both Taleo and Oracle HRMS support teams when troubleshooting issues. 
  • Responsible for day-to-day troubleshooting and end user support:
    • Use HR Case Management System to provide support to Taleo users (Hiring Managers, HR, and Talent Acquisition team).
       
  • Including, but not limited to merging of candidate profiles,  deleting candidate profiles, candidate log in and completion of 2nd pass issues, creation of new hire record problems, adding agencies/agents to the system, communication/notifications issues, providing/troubleshooting access issues.
  • Responsible for providing backup assistance when troubleshooting Taleo security issues.
  • Responsible for Taleo Configuration Change Control and Related Documentation:
    • Configuration change control
    • Managing the change process so that only approved and validated changes are incorporated into product documents and related software,
    • Identifying and maintaining the original configuration of requirements documentation, design documentation, and related documentation,
    • Tracking all problems and changes in product documents and reports changes and current configurations,
    • Supporting/conducting audits to verify that requirements of all baselines have been met,
    • Supporting quality assurance process audits.
  • Responsible for creating functional requirements and configuration documents for system enhancement projects.
  • Defines User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scenarios and develops comprehensive test scripts for system enhancement projects.
  • Runs queries against both Taleo and Oracle HRMS to help with troubleshooting integration issues.
  • Leverages his/her technical knowledge of TCC scripting and Taleo back-end database model.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Information Systems, Engineering, OR degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 5 years techno-functional experience in Oracle Taleo application.
  • Demonstrated understanding of Taleo Application Framework.
  • Basic SQL query experience required.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship

  • Implements new Taleo application functionality using best practice/Oracle supported techniques.
  • TCC Scripting and Taleo database knowledge preferred.
  • Oracle HRMS experience preferred.
