Job Description

Eaton’s Aerospace segment is currently seeking a Sr. Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic team. This position will be based at our Euclid, OH facility.
 
Position Overview:
Provides a wide variety of administrative and staff support services to an organizational unit. May assist in budget preparation and control activities. May assist in the preparation and control of records, statistics, and reports regarding operations, personnel changes, etc. Administers programs, projects, and/or processes specific to the operating unit served. May serve as administrative liaison with others within and outside the company regarding administrative issues related to purchasing, personnel, facilities and operations. May screen and interview job applicants and orient new employees. NOTE: This is not a secretarial position.
 
Essential Responsibilities:
  • Serve as liaison 
  • Maintains, updates and prepares reports of key departmental metrics and meeting minutes.
  • Manages resources (inventory/order supplies, phones, relocations, etc.) and efficient use of P-Card for procurement of supplies, subscriptions, dues and training.
  • Develops/maintains/updates file systems for physical, electronic and offsite records management.
  • Performs daily interpersonal communications through phone calls, direct visitors, status updates for department.
  • Arranges meetings, facility contracting, for global department.
  • Conducts research (gather information for reports/managers, etc.).
  • Create documents using various software word processing, spreadsheet, database, presentation software, and web based software.
 

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required
    Minimum of three years of experience in an administrative assistant role
  • This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. ‘Green Card Holder’), Political Asylee, or Refugee
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without company sponsorship
  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position.  Only candidates that currently reside within 50 mile geographical area of Euclid, OH will be considered

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced level of expertise in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint as well as proficient skills with intranet and internet.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Management of multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Knowledge of the company travel system, AT&T Connect, Video Conferencing, and P-Card system.
  • Planning skills of future actions required to ensure timely completion of deadlines. Continuous monitoring of deadlines is also a must.
