Job Description

The National Account Director will be responsible for developing and implementing plans and programs for established key accounts and specific target market segments. The primary function of this role will be to provide key input in developing a segment strategy for alternative channels and providing leadership for a team of key account managers in their assigned responsibilities. In this role, the incumbent will work closely with the Channel management team to maximize profitable growth and establish rules of engagement between his team and the general sales force.
 
Directs all key account sales activities to achieve performance goals in accordance with marketing and sales plans
  • Build close relationships with key customers to enhance sales volume and customer service.
  • Continues and improves profit-based growth of large national account business
  • Responsible for identifying and addressing management tools, training needs and performance issues that are limiting the effectiveness of the field sales team.
  • Manages key account activities of the sales organization, including defining structure and driving continuous improvement and accountability.
  • Guides and monitors the development and maintenance of customer relationships with respect to all field sales activities.
  • Supports new products development and product improvements.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university. 
  • Minimum 10 years of sales or marketing experience within the electrical industry. 
  • Possess and maintain a valid and unrestricted driver’s license.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering and/or business. 
  • MBA
  • Prior experience in eCommerce, Digital Marketing or Online Etailers is strongly preferred
