Ability to independently troubleshoot all assembly/machining equipment, and continuously evaluate for improvement to
quality and delivery.
Responsible to standardize the Process Parameters presentation on the equipment to improve the revisions during the
Identify and implement controls solutions to improve safety, quality and delivery (Poka-Yoke).
Responsible to support preventive and corrective maintenances (Equipment Up-time > 90%, OEE>85%).
Troubleshoot PLC, VFD’s, laser sensors, Vision System, LVDT’s, Torque equipment, servos, encoders, Laser Markers,
network/Ethernet controls, robot programming and other automation and equipment problems. Chronic issues should be
documented (A3, 8D, etc)
Reprogram automation for engineering changes, improvements etc.
Responsible to install and improve the Poka-yokes on the assembly process according with PFMEA, Control Plan etc and
avoid customer complains.
Design process solutions and equipment/tools required for new product introduction.
Develop local equipment suppliers to reduce costs.
Responsible for actively participating in all Continuous Improvement activities in the area of responsibility effectively
utilizing EBS processes and tools, such as ELSS. CIF, PRO-Launch, EQS and others as applicable.
Standardize process in order to reduce capital investment and optimize equipment usage.
Minimum 3 years’ experience as a manufacturing engineer
Knowledge of computers, assembly practices, tools and fixturing,
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing and make presentations.
