Position Overview:
 
This is a hands-on development role that will directly contribute to the development and expansion of our cutting edge cloud connected internet of things (IOT) and standalone product applications and offerings.
 
We are looking for a talented and creative problem solver. You will be working in a dynamic and fast paced team environment with the latest technology and tools, using your software engineering skills to deliver new products. You will be involved in the complete development life cycle, seeing your design evolve from a specification into a finished product. Detailed technical collaboration with the full cross-functional development team will require strong, ongoing communication. Maintaining our market leading position will challenge your creativity and design skills.
 
In this role you will also help evaluate and develop various applications using various front end, back end, dashboard including cloud technologies and components. You will work closely with product management and other design team members to understand the business needs, propose and develop end to end solutions. The candidate will possess excellent hands on technical and communication skills with a proven track record of delivering positive results.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering from an accredited institution
  • 5 years of software development experience
  • Strong experience as a .NET Development
  • Knowledge on ASP.NET framework, SQL Server and design/architectural patterns (e.g. Model-View-Controller (MVC))
  • Experience in Cloud Computing using Azure or other cloud.
  • Hands on experience using JavaScript frameworks such as Bootstrap/HTML5 and CSS3, Angular 2.0 and above, JQuery, JSON, ajax
  • Hands on experience in database design, SQL queries, procedures, functions etc.
  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position.  Only candidates within a 50 mile radius of the work location will be considered
 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in  Computer Science or Engineering from an accredited institution
  • Knowledge of at least one of the .NET languages (e.g. C#, ASP.NET)
  • 7 years of software development experience
 
Position Criteria:
  • Participate in requirements analysis
  • Collaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architecture
  • Write clean, scalable code
  • Test and deploy applications and systems
  • Revise, update, refactor and debug cod
  • Implement new features and support existing software
  • Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC)
  • Serve as an expert on applications and provide technical support
  • Familiarity with Web Services architectures (REST Based).
