Eaton’s Aerospace Division has an exciting opportunity for a Master Production Scheduler at the Eastanollee, GA facility.
Position Overview:
This position is responsible for managing and scheduling independent demand orders, balancing plant and supplier capacities and resources. Responsible for establishing and maintaining the Master Production Schedule within the Material Requirements Planning system (such as MFGPro), ensuring correct requirements generation and flow down. Responsible for inventory management and accuracy. Sales, Inventory, and Operational Planning (SIOP) Champion, responsible for leading, analyzing, and improving SIOP maturity aligned with the Eaton Aerospace Model Plant initiative at the facility.
Essential Functions:
  • Balances current and future customer demand requirements with manufacturing and supplier capabilities/capacities to ensure completion of customer requirements.
  • Develops Master Production Schedule for use in Materials Requirement Planning system to generate requirements for manufactured and purchased parts while ensuring desired inventory levels are maintained.
  • Responsible for analyzing, achieving, and sustaining Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) rules related to master scheduling.
  • Analyzes data, including enterprise requirements planning information and prepares reports as needed to facilitate and recommend actions to ensure optimal supply chain execution.
  • Coordinates with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Customer Service groups to maintain plant-wide production scheduling information.
  • Performs analysis of material and production trends in order to align planning parameters, set strategic inventory, and load forecasted demand to meet customer demand fluctuations and ensure proper order generation.
  • Improve the SIOP maturity at the facility and lead monthly Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) cadence to create an integrated business plan by dollars, units, and load hours across multiple functions including customer service, operations, supply chain, and finance.
  • Manage days-on-hand (DOH) inventory to achieve and sustain target levels. Including continuously monitoring problem inventory utilizing “fire sale” opportunities and making recommendations for inventory disposal.
  • Consults with master scheduling peers in feeder or recipient manufacturing plants to ensure schedules are coordinated.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required to converse with diverse group of stockholders, management, suppliers and customers.
  • Reviews customer quotes, and new sales order requests to provide feasible lead time and promise dates to customer service before orders are confirmed.
  • Supply Chain approver for manufactured items flowing through MCO/ECO workflow system.
  • Ensure accurate perpetual inventory records through managing site cycle count program and co-leading annual physical inventory with Finance.


Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • Three (3) years of experience in either scheduling, planning, forecasting or materials management and materials planning systems (MRP/ERP).
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
  • This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).  All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR.  ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. ‘Green Card Holder’), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Supply Chain from an accredited university.
  • Master’s degree in Business from an accredited university.
  • APICS and/or ISM certification.
  • Previous Supply Chain experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong analytical, financial, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Demonstrated success in driving results through others.
  • Demonstrated skills in team development and competency excellence.
Position Criteria:
  • Strong experience and knowledge of MRP/ERP concepts.
  • Possesses sound knowledge and experience in successfully deploying material strategies and driving cost-out.
  • Ability to analyze, identify, and implement opportunities and corporate initiatives for improvement that have measurable dollar impact annually.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • SIOP – Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of MS Office Suite (Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong analytical, financial, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point).
  • Experience in driving aligned actions through groups that don’t directly report to them.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to simultaneously manage multiple time-sensitive tasks.
  • Must be detail-oriented and possess excellent prioritization skills. 
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.  Must be able to effectively interact with all levels of staff.
  • Thorough understanding of the best practices in demand analysis, production, and inventory planning in both an OEM and Distribution environment.
