Sr Electrical/Electronics Engineer - PowerTrain Systems
Development and application of electronic system components to commercial vehicle and automotive powertrain control products.
Evaluates present and new technology sensors, actuators and other electronic products. Integrates electronic components into powertrain electrical subsystems in collaboration with the product systems engineers.
Prepares, presents, and completes engineering work packages as a well-recognized expert in the development and delivery of detailed engineering materials including requirements analysis, hardware functional and performance specifications, design analysis, block diagrams, schematics, component drawings, specifications, manuals and other customer documentation, development and test procedures, writing of conclusive technical reports, Engineering Change Orders, deviations, supplier technical management, product integration, testing, and validation of components used embedded real-time control systems.
Coordinates with suppliers, internal laboratories and test track facilities to ensure the successful completion of product development and validation testing
Serves on a team to identify process improvements, product cost reductions, and reliability improvements. Demonstrated and sought out for proficiency in advanced problem solving techniques.
Coordinates with Project Manager to plans, organize, and lead small to medium project teams through PROLaunch (Stage-Gate process).
Complete Engineering Degree in Electric or Electronics;
Experience in electric and electronic components development;
Excellent communication and relationship skills;
Travel availability (25%);
Experience in industrial products, transmissions or heavy vehicle product development;
Experience in transmission automation and systems integration;
Master of Science, Engineering
