Materials Planner NPI
Scheduling and planning material for New programs assigned. Provide to program managers weekly or periodic status on components ETA’s for current projects.
Maintains all records and documents pertaining to suppliers in an organized and clear manner.(Releases, Orders, Shipments, ASN’s and other information as required)
Enters and processes appropriate data into the Operating System, Supplier Releases, and others as required / Analysis and follow up of the ERP Metric.
Supports Department metrics and other key performance indicators as assigned.
Manages inventory levels (DOH) through proper scheduling of orders in accordance with demand requirements and aligned to department goal.
Promotes and applies the continuous improvement. (Apply lean mfg concepts & cost out projects).Participate Kaizens, Cost Outs and support other CI tools. Participation in OpA annual self-assessment and actively identify opportunity and close action items. Tool competency in ELSS, EHS, EQS, MML and Pro-Launch.
Business Bachelor Degree or similar.
+ 3 experience years as Material Planner in New Products.
Computer knowledge within the Company business operating systems (Microsoft office, Oracle) preferred.
APICS certifications preferred.
Strong inventory control skill.
