Job Description

Plan, organize, direct, coordinate and control the supply chain processes, including functions such as materials planning, scheduling, purchasing, customer service and for logistics, along with the execution of all company rules, policies, procedures and programs in support of goals and objectives. Lead and/or support projects and/or initiatives based on business needs.
  1. Manage Section Managers/ Materials Managers to achieve prescribed objectives associated with Inventory Management, Service  Planning, and Procurement.
  2. Ensure tools for inventory management, sourcing and supplier resource management are deployed and sustained, to optimize the use of material providing maximum production efficiencies and service to customers with minimal levels of inventory.
  3. Ensure the timely manufacture and distribution of finished goods that meets and/or exceeds the expectations of both external and internal customers 
  4. Ensure adequate supplier management encompassing on-time delivery, quality while maintaining good vendor relations and establishing cost reduction programs.
  5. Manage Logistics function  and  Campus Shared Procurement processes for Contractors, Services and common MRO’s
  6. Effectively communicate, interface, and coordinate with plants for Logistics and  Campus Shared Procurement processes Manage and control department expenditures in according to set budget.
  7. Develop department procedures, guidelines, and objectives.
  8. Obtain cost improvements and cost reductions aligned to business objectives.
  9. Support the effort to build organizational capabilities and bench strength through support of functional excellence, training, and coaching.
  10. Drive and support improvement strategies across all supply chain functions in logistics(carrier management), Systems integration(MRP) and others


  1. Bachelor’s degree Industrial Engineer, Business Administration or related areas. Preferable a Master Degree or MBA.
  2. Minimum experience of 7 years in similar positions.
  3. Bilingual (English/Spanish).
  4. PC knowledge, Microsoft Office including Excel and PowerPoint
  5. Knowledge ERP Systems
  6. AS 400 Knowledge.
  7. APICS Certification.
  8. Knowledge of Lean Tools and 6 Sigma.
  9. Knowledge of Inventory Control and D.R. Custom Laws.
