Based from a home-office or a Eaton Lighting facility in the Midwestern US, this position is responsible for attainment of Division and Corporate goals for sales growth and profitability through market development, effective direction and management of the activities of our sales agencies and personnel, while providing superior service to our customers. This is achieved through developing and recommending annual sales plans and forecast for individual manufacturers’ representatives, markets, factory territories for their area. Continually analyzes sales levels and trends through market research and initiates pro-active or corrective actions as required to assure attainment of objectives and assuring that appropriate technical guidance and assistance regarding product applications is available to customer.
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
Must be eligible to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship
A minimum of 10 years of sales management experience in an electrical products industry dealing with a commercial/industrial customer base
A minimum of 5 years of experience as a manager of sales professionals
Ability to travel at least 50% of the time
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution in Marketing, Business Administration or Engineering
Advance Degree from an accredited institution
A minimum of 8 years of sales management experience in the lighting industry/lighting controls industry
A minimum of 3 years of experience/familiarity with lighting controls technology
Currently residing in the Western United States
Well- developed communication, organizational, motivational and interpersonal skills
Well-developed talent management and organizational effectiveness skills
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding stretch goals
