Sales and Marketing Center (SMC) partners with multiple Eaton businesses across different geographies to deliver incremental value and drive growth by providing best in class solutions and practices through its five integral CoEs  - Sales Analytics & Market Research [SAMR], Creative CoE, Customer Services [CS], Master Data Management [MDM] and Pricing CoE. SMC provides diverse opportunities and platform to accelerate individual careers in a challenging environment through  exposure to different global and regional sales and marketing initiatives. Essential Function:


  • Meet the strategic market information needs of the organization on a prioritized basis.

  • Distribute market intelligence information to key constituencies.

  • Assist in the development of the strategic plan by furnishing required market intelligence data and analysis.

  • Gather and analyze external and internal data in order to produce market conditions report.

  • Apply specific tactical information discovery, including answers to questions about specific technology and product info.

  • Provide complete and timely research to key market intelligence users utilizing the research request process.

  • Analyze financials, markets, customers and competitors to recognize opportunities, potential risks, and areas requiring improvement.

  • Conduct studies to determine sales trends, market share, and operating profit with the intention to identify opportunities to grow sales, strengthen market share, and increase profitability.

  • Determine key markets’ size, share, and growth globally and by region.

  • Lead/ co-lead analysis presentation calls to internal customers to discuss research findings, conclusions and specifically presenting recommendations for business to take actions on.

  • Comfortable in discussions with SLT.

Specialized Knowledge:


  • Post graduate degree in Business Administration / Finance / Marketing / Economics / Statistics . .

  • - Primary and secondary research experience

  • - Experience with market trends, customer expectations and economic analysis as provided by internal and external data sources

  • - Knowledgeable in MS Office, specifically PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook.

  • -  Must interface with Sales, Marketing, IT, Engineering and Accounting functions.                                                                      Any Graduate
