Specialist Engineer - Friction Materials
Researches and develops friction materials for clutch industry;
Selects, formulates and processes friction materials to achieve vehicle performance requirements;
Applies the tribology concepts for friction and wear material, delivering material characterization and testing procedures.
Defines Technical Strategy of Friction Materials
- Analysis/characterization of Friction Material trough Global Vehicle Group, mainly Clutch Products;
- Applies the tribology concepts in the R&D, Production and Quality Areas to support the development of new products and improve the current ones;
- Implements manufacturing processes optimization, reducing costs, timing and energy;
- Supports and develops new tribological test methodologies using our Global Test Lab Facilities.
