Job Description

  • Balances current and future customer demand requirements with manufacturing and supplier capabilities/capacities to ensure completion of customer requirements.
  • Develops Master Production Schedule for use in Materials Requirements Planning system to generate requirements for manufactured and purchased parts whole ensuring desired inventory levels are maintained.
  • Analyzes data, including enterprise requirements planning information and prepares reports as needed to facilitate and recommend actions to ensure optimal supply chain execution.
  • Reviews planning parameters in order execution systems (MFGPro) to ensure proper order generation
  • Coordinates with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Customer Service groups to maintain plant-wide production scheduling information.
  • Assists materials planning group in analyzing the need for, and size of, strategic inventories to meet customer demand fluctuations.
  • Generate information on scheduled  demand items for use in Sales, Inventory, and Operational Planning (SIOP) process.
  • Consults with master scheduling peers in feeder or recipient manufacturing plants to ensure schedules are coordinated


  • 3 to 5 yrs. Supply Chain experience
  • Bilingual English/ Spanish
  • Good communication skills
  • Knowledge of materials planning systems (MRP/ERP) requirements and order generation process logic.
  • Detailed understanding of SIOP process
  • Strong Leadership skills
  • Experience in calculating and maintaining Kanban’s preferred
  • MRP experience preferred
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
