Job Description

Eaton Corporation has an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Planner at our Roxboro, NC facility supporting 1st shift.
Hours:  1st shift (6:30am – 2:50pm)
Position Overview
  • Plan schedule and coordinate all proactive maintenance
  • Work with internal resources to ensure timely and accurate ordering of materials needed to support completion of proactive maintenance activities
  • Estimate maintenance resource levels needed to support proactive maintenance activities
  • Support root cause analysis of unexpected equipment downtime in order to drive continuous improvement in proactive maintenance program
  • Provide employee training relative to the proactive maintenance program
  • Complete audits to ensure completion of proactive maintenance activities
  • Maintain maintenance records
  • Author maintenance plans in partnership with engineers and equipment manufacturers
  • Partner with the manufacturing function on the scheduling of maintenance activities
  • Track and report out on metrics relative to the success of maintenance activities


Basic Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship
  • No relocation is provided with this position, only candidates that live in a 50 mile radius of the Roxboro NC facility will be considered
  • Minimum of 1 year maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3 years maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience administrating an proactive maintenance program
Position Criteria
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite
  • Electrical and mechanical aptitude
