Supplier Quality Engineer
An ideal Supplier Quality Engineer candidate will be proficient at managing supplier Quality, performing analytical inspection and testing in support of manufacturing as well as research and development activities.
The Supplier Quality Engineer will be asked to take independent ownership of projects, lead small project teams, and continuously improve their skill set.
The Supplier Quality Engineer will work autonomously to identify, track and complete individual projects but will also be expected to work collaboratively with other technicians and managers in support of production needs.
A. Collect supplier quality data, carry out annual statistical evaluation of supply quality performance, propose improvement objectives and supervise implementation.
B. Implementing supplier quality strategy, drive projects linked to the business objectives.
C. Process assessment of suppliers and help to establish stable process control, and help suppliers to establish a stable quality management system .
D. Establish required CTQ performance at suppliers and subcontractors by implementing robust quality control plans and sustainable corrective action plans.
E. Timely deal with the quality problem of production line supply, feedback the material complaint on the production site, and help the supplier to make targeted rectification and tracking and evaluation (PPM).
F. Continuously improve the quality management procedures and processes of existing feed parts.
G. Work closely with SCM, interfacing global engineering / manufacturing on technical, documentation, specification and quality issues.
H. Perform supplier audit in regularly base with finding closure tracking.
I. Responsible for supplier corrective action, deviation approval, periodic supplier feedback.
Bachelor's Degree in engineering or general science related field from an accredited institution
5+ years’ experience in supplier quality management.
Knowledge of process control/process discipline, SPC, MSA, FMEA, 8D, DMAIC and Total Quality methods.
Knowledge of quality management system, ISO9000 and IATF16949.
ISO auditor, with certification of internal auditor (ISO9000 or TS16949) is preferred Be able to conduct supplier audit and supplier assessment.
Proficient in English. Good written and oral skills are essential.

Preferred Position Criteria
Working knowledge of materials and materials testing.
Data management and use of tools such as excel and online data management.
A disciplined and logical thought process.
