Mixing Process Engineer

Job Description

State the primary function or overall purpose of your position.
Performs engineering support tasks for Golf Pride Thailand mixing operation which include process standardization deployment, providing technical solutions for quality issues and drive continuous improvement & operation excellence in mixing process using engineering skills in polymer or rubber technology. Collects and evaluates engineering data for improve plant operation to meet goal and objective, close operations gap and quality issue as well as EHS area.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (Limit yourself to 8-12 statements)
List the essential functions (i.e. key responsibilities with expected end results) which must be accomplished in order to fulfill the purpose of your position as described above.
  1. Provide engineering support for day to day mixing operation
  2. Create & Develop processes to optimize productivity and workflow.
  3. Collect data, Analyze, Evaluate and Test new and existing processes to uncover areas for improvements and innovation
  4. Prepare Standard / work instruction (new process, new product)
  5. Investigate and troubleshoot any problems that arise with processes, procedures, and operations. Analyze quality data, create actions and lead problem solving teams.
  6. Interface with new product development team and support the launch of new products and processes.
  7. Evaluate and refine manufacturing process work instructions. Assist in development clear and concise documentation of these procedures in accordance with quality requirements.
  8. Improve cycle time of production process.
  9. Utilize and implement Lean tool
  10. Support and utilize ISO9001/14001, Eaton Quality System, Lean Audit and EHS


Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree from Engineering material, sciences in rubber or Polymer
  • At least 2 years up experience in rubber compound / mixing process
  • Able to work under pressure and limit of time.
  • Understanding in basic of safety in manufacturing environmental
  • Good communication in English both writing and speaking
  • Able to work in night shift  and work on Saturday (2 Saturday/Month)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, rubber technology, materials, polymer sciences or related fields
  • A strong technical professional to develop and apply state-of-the art materials technology to highly engineering technical products
  • Demonstrate strong initiative and drive for results as well as good interpersonal and teaming behavior.
  • Understanding in MRP
  • Green belt or black belt certified

  • Good observations and quick learning &quick actions
  • Good communication skills
  • Experience in Process Control &Process Improvement
  • Familiar with Lean Kaizen &Six Sigma and Cost Saving project
