Deploy and manage the EQS framework to ensure that the plant is aligned and supportive of the EQS criteria.
Promote and Lead Structured Problem Solving and Corrective Actions to effectively resolve internal and external quality issues
Must be able to effectively interface with customers and/or suppliers to effectively address issues, concerns, programs, projects, etc.
Must be able to effectively review and resolve warranty issues, both with external customers and well as internal customers and departments.
Support manufacturing processes with adequate and effective capability studies, problem solving activities and quality analysis.
Must be able to develop, coach, motivate, counsel employees regarding quality functions and Eaton Values/Philosophies.
Must be able to lead planning activities for new product launches and also support any product redesign activities.
Support and facilitate continuous improvement activities at the Corporate, Group, Division, Plant and Value Stream Level
Support plant continuous improvement efforts focused on improving the High 5 Metrics and Plant Objectives
Model the Eaton ethical conduct policy, the Eaton Values and Philosophy, and comply with all other corporate, plant, and regulatory policies and regulations as applicable.
Certification as a Certified Quality Engineer or Manager by ASQ, would be desired.
Must have a working understanding of published standards, International and Customer (ISO, QS, PPAP, APQP, etc.), and ensure compliance and understanding within the facility.
Possess a good understanding of the EBS tenets and their relationship to effective product planning and customer satisfaction.
Identify and support the recommendation/purchase of hardware or software technology in the area of inspection and QA lab analysis.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing setting is required.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Quality functional role is required.
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a manager of people is required.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

- Experience working directly with major OEMs
- Green Belt/Black Belt Certification
