Job Description

- Negociate and sell our products and services to customers
- Develop our TO, margin, and market shares in relation with our sales policy
- Develop our existing customer portfolio and our presence with new customers
- Study and give feedback from the market and competition
- Achieve the assigned sales quota consistent with the expectations of a fully seasoned and experienced sales engineer in the assigned product category and or sales area. Has the responsibility to manage and coordinate the sales effort within the customer/distributor base assigned and to grow Eaton's overall business.
- Develop and maintain account profile and sales plan for target account, specifying total opportunity at the account, areas where we have the greatest likelihood of success, key decision makers, competitors, likely buying factors, recommended actions, and status of priority initiatives
You are responsible for the development of the company's ranges with a clientele of industrials in production and laboratories for a turn over of 2.5 M€ per year (60% abroad). This is a replacement for an internal job.
After a precise targeting of the existing clientele and the potential of its sector, you will have as main responsibilities:
- Negotiate and sell the company's products to direct customers abroad,
- Animate the network of agents based in EMEA (without Spain nor UK), USA, Asia (10 key agents), Brazil
- Increase turnover, margin, and market shares in compliance with commercial policy,
- Develop the existing customer portfolio and the presence of the range with new customers,
- Conducting a constant monitoring of the market and of competition and reporting back to its hierarchy,
- Participate in marketing and product mix (technical articles, technical sheets, web, market research, e-mailing)
- Perform regular reporting to its hierarchy, after-sales service,
- Management, follow-up, qualification of the customer opportunities thanks to our internal Oracle ERP in order to make forecasts of sale,
- Establish relationships with key executives and central decision makers within account
- Introduce Eaton’s full set of capabilities to the account and continually refresh the customers’ understanding of what we can do to help their business
- Engage the customer in new product/service development initiatives
- Negotiate blanket agreements, overall terms and conditions or other commercial considerations with the customer to facilitate growth of our business
- Manage day-to-day activity at account including project quotations, service delivery, quality/delivery issues and other job-specific transactional elements of the relationship


The candidate will be results-driven, flexible, and possess a strong work ethic and willingness to learn. A technical background with strong electrical knowledge and excellent communication skills are essential to liaise with customers and Eaton’s internal organization. English required, second language appreciated.
- Technical base skill (industrial computing, electronics, electrotechnics)
- 1-3 years sales engineering experience minimum
- Technical Bachelors degree + BTS or DUT minimum or engineering school
- Understanding of our complete range of products and services
