We are currently looking for experienced Manager HR responsible for partnering with the Global IT HR & Talent COE and other regional HR partners to provide functional leadership for the Information Technology employees and leadership in the Asia Pacific region, including the Eaton Information Technology Centre (EITC) at Pune. This leader and his/her respective team deliver end-to-end HR support activities, while also partnering with regional leaders to delivering appropriate regional IT HR strategies to advance the talent capabilities of the region. Specific focus areas include: staffing, compensation and benefits, training and development, organizational design and employee engagement/retention.
This role is also be a member of the IT HR & Talent CoE that includes the HR leaders in IT from other geographies and sectors. Based at Pune, this role will also participate and contribute to the India HR council influencing local policies and decisions to support present and futuristic business requirements. Also, as a member of the EITC leadership team, this role will have direct influence over key talent development and growth decisions in turn contributing to the IT strategic goal of building global organizational capabilities for the function. Key Responsibilities of this position are :
A. Lead all Human Resources initiatives and processes spanning the entire employee life-cycle to Increase employee engagement, involvement, productivity, retention and development.
B. Plan for workforce requirement and partner with Talent Acquisition Center to “Hire Right”.
C. Plan for Employee Satisfaction Surveys, encourage maximum participation, help analyze and explain results, and coach managers and teams in action planning exercises, follow-through on action plans to increase scores on all dimensions of survey.
D. Provide guidance to managers group regarding employee coaching, counseling and discipline.
E. Establishing key HR processes (HR Functional Standard Works) in alignment with the Eaton Business System and global IT organization.
F. Reinforce Eaton’s Leadership attributes to sustain a culture of inclusiveness. Reinforce Eaton Ethics and support in Ethics investigations.
G. Develop salary recommendations for offers to new hires, promotions, equity adjustments and merit planning in lines with the overall Compensation and Executive Compensation Philosophy.
H. Develop and deploy Training and Development Portfolio in accordance with business and individual needs to ensure readiness of talent for current and future requirements of the organization.
I. Guide, support, orient and train employees and managers through the entire Performance Management cycle – Goals, Development Plans, Mid-Year Reviews, Year-end valuations, Calibrations, etc.
J. Develop talent by leveraging various tools and processes to ensure succession planning and leadership pipeline development. Recruitment and Selection Work with the India Talent Acquisition Center and contract service provider to meet the hiring plans within the stipulated timeline as per approved manpower requirements.
K. Support the leadership team in deployment and follow-up of HR initiatives
L. Create a positive employee relations culture through employee engagement, community social responsibility and other activities
M. Will create communication structure /channels to interact and influence IT leaders and local HRMs within APAC in driving the long term talent strategy.
- MBA in Human resources with 10 years or above of progressive human resource management experience
- Experience should include development of HR systems and strategies, leadership and organizational development
- Ability to effectively manage multiple initiatives, relationships and leverage diversity in a global enterprise.
- Knowledge of Employment laws
- Proven capability in getting results from self & team
- Influencing the team, peers and other IT Enterprise leaders
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to communicate and persuade at all management levels
- Facilitation skills and leadership development
