Job Description

The Industrial Automation sales specialist will be part of the UK M-OEM Sales Team and will be responsible for the development of Eaton’s growing Industrial Automation business across the UK. The role requires the development of sales with external customer groups including Eaton Solution Partners, Electrical / Mechanical OEM’s, End Users, Specifiers whilst working in conjunction with Eaton’s regional M-OEM Sales and Product Marketing Teams, to achieve Eaton’s growth targets for this important product range.

 

The essential functions of the role include:

 


Sales professional with proven technical ability to achieve sales targets.

Industrial Automation application experience, able to provide support to both customers and colleagues in hardware and software environments.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Builds successful internal and external customer relationships to support long term growth.

Supports and champions product launches, working with both product management and the sales teams.

Contributes toward other Eaton functions including Product Management, Credit control, Customer Support and Demand Planning.

Provide product training and support for the development of training material for customers groups.
Operates efficiently and flexibly within the company's sales strategy and guidelines across the UK

 

The ideal candidate would possess the following skills and attributes:

 


• Superior knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, Remote I/O, Industrial networks
• Field sales experience
• A strong knowledge of all products, with emphasis on Industrial Control and Automation products and their application.
• Expertise in organizing, analyzing and presenting data
• Excellent presentation and speaking skills
• Strong PC skills and technology direction understanding
• Vision for the future of Eaton

Qualifications

• Degree level / Recognised electrical qualification together with relevant experience.
