Job Description

Eaton Aerospace in Bethel, CT is looking for a Technician for their New Technology Cell.  The primary function of this role is to support the New Technology Cell (NTC) manufacturing team through producing quality products to the customer’s specifications in a safe and timely manner.
Essential Job Duties: 
  • Assemble, test, calibrate and thermally compensate an electro/mechanical device
  • Interface and/or interpret customer and supplier requirements (internal)
  • Maintain quality records
  • Perform visual inspection of parts
  • Perform final acceptance testing on electro/mechanical pressure sensor (ATP)
  • Interface with manufacturing and design engineers, quality engineers and inspectors.


Basic Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required from an accredited institution
  • Minimum two (2) years’ experience in the manufacture of electro-mechanical assemblies.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
  • This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
  • No relocation is offered for this position.  Candidates must reside within 50 miles of the Bethel facility to be considered.
Position Criteria
  • Basic knowledge of quality standards
  • Basic knowledge of written instructions, visual aids, sketches and blueprints 
  • Basic electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
  • Effective communication skills to be able to work with teammates towards a common goal
