Job Description

Verifies the policies and procedures fulfillment, to evaluate the supplier quality and their capacity. Assuring the component’s quality.

Provides the quality interface between the organization and their suppliers, and pro-actively ensures that the plant needs and expectations are understood and satisfied by the suppliers. This include the complaints manage process, assuring the well deployment of the preventive and corrective corresponding actions in the supplier process, through the 8D methodology and the update of the supplier process’ documents. Avoiding repetitive issues.

Provides tools and methods to suppliers aimed to support them to improve their quality processes driving its continuous improvement activities through the well deployment of the PFMEA and Control Plan.

Evaluates and approves all items under the PPAP process to assure the supplier is meetings these requirement.

Gives support to suppliers, analyzing the DMRs and PPMs to direct the efforts to identify and implement projects to reduce PPM/DMR levels.

Coordinates activities with the supplier regarding DMRs.

Assuring the flow of good components to our production lines.

Provides daily assistance in production meeting to support the business decision on daily concerns.

Maintains close communication with the Quality and Customer Representative Manager to ensure the right department operation.

Relates to all departments to ensure the Eaton’s quality products.

Attending training courses assigned by Human Resources Department.

Performs activities according to the Quality and Environmental policies established by the business Applies the Safety and Environment principles and methodology to prevent accidents.

Responsible for actively participating in all Continuous Improvement activities in my area of responsibility effectively utilizing EBS processes and tools, such as ELSS. CIF, PRO-Launch, EQS and others as applicable


Industrial Engineering Degree or similar

Experience in Quality Systems

Desirable Knowledge of ISO/TS 16949

Communication skills with customers

Basic Skills to handle measurement systems (GR&R, Bias, Linearity)

High analysis sense

English 90%. Written & verbal Skills

Knowledge of Statistic Tools
