Project Manager
Location: Espoo, Finland
Eaton’s CPS (Critical Power Solutions) organization is responsible for meeting our customers’ UPS needs around the EMEA region. In cooperation with R&D we are looking for a Project Manager to join the team.
The Project Manager will be responsible for managing Engineered To Order (ETO) and R&D projects at the Espoo plant, by managing both local and remote resources.  We are looking for an individual who wants to work in a changing environment, acts quickly and takes changing objectives and priorities as positive challenges. You enjoy working in an international environment, together with Eaton colleagues from several countries – and furthermore you are able to successfully interact directly with customers. A successful Project Manager masters balancing multiple projects and solving problems on the fly.
Essential functions:
  • Managing, planning and coordinating ETO and R&D projects.
  • Documenting and implementing customer required modifications to standard UPS products.
  • Supporting continuous process improvement activities within the team.
  • Supporting Eaton sales offices throughout the EMEA region with ETO project deliveries.


  • At least 3 years’ experience in project management.
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering.
  • An ability to manage multiple projects at once and to deliver projects according to tight deadlines.
  • An ability to work effectively in a matrix organization in an international environment.
  • An ability to tolerate uncertainty and rapid changes.
  • A strong customer orientation and a focus on problem solving.
  • Solid experience in the electrical/ electronic/ IT industry is considered advantage.
  • Experience with UPS technologies and assemblies is an advantage.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. Fluency in English is mandatory.
