Location: Sarbi, Maramures, Romania

 

The primary role is to manage the supply according to the demand for raw-, semi-finished- and finished products along the end-to-end supply chain in the most efficient way, means ensure customer satisfaction while producing cost efficient. The position will be responsible for leading the execution of SIOP process, including supply- and inventory planning, including target setting and controlling of them.

 

Essential functions:

  • To oversee supply planning of raw material, semi-finished products and finished goods and manage and coordinate supply shortfalls and availability issues by applying risk management to mitigate risks upfront
  • To execute the SIOP process with focus on Supply- and Inventory planning of the whole end to end supply chain
  • To be the interface between the SIOP process and the Product Lines for Profit Planning.
  • To set, control and oversee inventory targets for the product line across the different ledgers
  • To manage, monitor and control all KPI´s applied to that product line with alignment to standards and root-cause analysis with the Inventory and Performance Team
  • To design, develop and improve supply chain strategies for different market segments, including invoice and material flow
  • To drive and improve LEAN and MMA (eMMAC) principles across the supply chain
  • To support all Materials Management relevant projects like Phase in/out or design changes within the Product Line to ensure optimal product availability to the customer combined with minimized E&O risk
  • To determine the right stock assortment according to the relevant Product Lines in alignment with Product Managers
  • To ensure standards, productivity and efficiency of Supply Chain processes for the product line

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required, MBA or Masters Degree in Engineering / science highly desirable.
  • Expertise with logistics or materials planning, Lean and/or manufacturing processes
  • Fluency in English language is required to operate across countries in regional level
  • 3+ years’ experience or more with in Supply Chain functions is desirable.
  • International exposure is highly desirable
  • Very strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
  • Ability to quickly analyze operational inefficiencies based
  • Advanced understanding of lean logistics theory, deployment and measurement is essential
  • Advanced knowledge of administrative and organizational dynamics required to operate an efficient global logistics network.
  • Ability to lead and work with a cross-functional team
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills necessary to converse with diverse group of stakeholders including Sales, Operations and Supply Chain Management personnel.
