Eaton's Filtration Hydraulic Division has an opening for a:

Associate Buyer/ Einkäufer (m/f)

Location: Langenlonsheim, Germany

Essential Functions:

  • Ensuring cost-effective purchasing that meets specifications and quality requirements. Maintenance of purchasing relationships with suppliers
  • Purchase of consumables and technical spare parts
  • Ordering and correspondence as well as delivery date assurance and coordination
  • Maintenance of the purchasing database
  • Control of the delivery according to the processing flow as well as transport in coordination with shipping department
  • Creation of bid comparisons
  • Auditing / processing of complaints / claims processing
  • Coordination of requirements with internal departments (production, scheduling)
  • Documentation / archiving in general
  • Consistent optimization in terms of costs, quality and delivery times in close cooperation with the corresponding technical departments and the corresponding, group-wide teams
  • Search, review and selection of alternative items and suppliers
  • Project management in German and English speaking teams
  • Preparation and execution of monthly analyzes



  • Professional education as industrial sales management assistant with many years of work experience and / or business studies
  • Good command of Business English
  • Good command of MS Office and experience in the use of ERP software
  • Good commercial understanding, basic knowledge of customs law, product knowledge, Negotiation skills
