Tax Analyst, Transfer Pricing Controversy EMEA
As member of the Transfer Pricing Controversy (EMEA) team, will support Manager, Transfer Pricing Controversy (EMEA) in developing responses to Tax Authority inquiries in a timely and concise manner, reviewing and analyzing Tax Authority positions in putting together the defense strategy.
Support the Manager in developing responses to Tax Authority inquiries
Review and amend existing TP documentation for completeness, preparing analysis for intercompany transactions as necessary.
Support the Manager in collecting data needed
As needed, preparation of transfer pricing analyses and documentation
Provide support in calculating the reserves for EMEA tax positions
Provide support on ad-hoc projects and activities
Min Bachelor Degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting or Business or related fields. Masters degree and/or professional qualification (CPA, CFA, or other) is a plus.
In case of a Bachelor degree, must have first working experience (up to three years) in international tax, transfer pricing, audit or finance, gained from either a similar position in industry or in a consulting environment.
In addition, the position requires a person with strong skills in the following areas:
Communications – Must be able to clearly communicate, orally and in writing.
Candidate must be fluent in English. Knowledge of German is a plus.
Solid interpersonal skills
Strong analytical skills, organized with effective time management skills
Further, skills in the following areas would be helpful:
Tax law – Statutes, regulations, court decisions and tax treaties
Accounting – understanding of financial transactions
