Job Description

  1. Review of Supplier corrective report (8D report) and identify the gaps against requirements.
  2. Initiate and close Corrective Actions and to ensure that root causes have been properly identified and eliminated.
  3. Identify, investigate, and resolve supplier technical and/or system issues related to product or process realization.
  4. On time closure of customer complaints with effective review of 8D reports.
  5. Identify, investigate, and resolve supplier technical and/or system issues related to product or process realization to support an effective PPAP.
  6. Knowledge of APQP process .
  7. Evaluate PPAP packages according to AIAG standards , deep knowledge of PPAP approval process.
  8. Identify methods to streamline the process-analysis work and improve customer satisfaction.
  9. Work as a co- coordinator  between suppliers and internal functions/plants (Engineering, Plants, Operations, etc.) to clarify requirements, eliminate confusion, and improve definition of requirements.
  10. Deployment of processes without any deviations.
  11. Capture improvements , work on BPI ,CI ,Kaizen , find out opportunity  to improve the process , productivity.
  12. Monitor & communicate suppliers DPPM  and  reduction in defect occurrences.
  13. Understand customer requirement and quick turnaround time on adhoc requests.
  14. Ensures adherence of inspection and test plans, standards and acceptance criteria, and procedures/work instructions.
  15. Assist in supplier development activities to improve in quality performance improvements.

Qualifications

1. BE in (Mechanical , Production, Electrical, Electronics & Industrial Engineering ) with 4-6 years’ experience in, Manufacturing / or Process Engineering ,Supplier Development Engineering (Manufacturing experience)
2.Good communication skills - Must speak and write English fluently.
3.Experience in working with global customers & suppliers.
4.Knowledge of process improvement methodologies and project management skills and applications , knowledge of APQP process .
5. Good collaboration skill.
6. Working knowledge of statistical tools including SPC, Gauge R&R and capability analysis.
7. Flexible attitude to work with the willingness to learn new skills when required.
8 .Experience in managing or supporting ISO 9000 docs
