Job Description

Eaton Hydraulics, in White City, Oregon has an opening for a CNC Lathe Machinist/TPM Mechanic on 1st shift.
Primary Responsibilities:
Set up and operate a CNC Lathe and Machine Center plus other manual equipment to perform a normal range of
operations on cylinder components generally 6 inch bore or less. Operations include drilling, threading, tapping,
recessing, finish turning, single point treading, boring, forming, reaming, counter boring, counter-sinking, spot facing,
deburring and other similar machining operations to produce standard cylinder components. Cleaning and oiling of parts
as required. Work with ferrous and nonferrous metals. Responsible for inspection and quality of all parts.
Maintain organized tracking system for work orders (when received, date due, date completed, etc). Ensure quarterly
TPM Inspections/Confirm daily sheets are being completed by operators. Research repair parts, maintenance manuals,
and other maintenance information. Contact & Coordinate work required with Supervisor and Contractors for repair of
equipment. Follow required documentation and adhere to EHS Policies


Basic Qualifications
- High school diploma and/or equivalent from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in set up and operation of CNC lathes, plus drilling, milling and manual machining.
No relocation must live within 50 miles of White City OR to be considered
Must be authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship
Position criteria-
-Ability to read and use blueprints.
-Abilities in the use of micrometers, veneers, indicators, and other measuring instruments.
-Mechanical ability to repair some basic equipment (as qualified).
-Ability to use a computer to document work orders and machine repairs
Preferred Qualifications-
-CNC programming utilizing Cincinnati-Milacron or Siemens controllers with Hyundai or Avenger Lathe experience.
