Job Description

A. Establish strong working relationships with Production and Costumer Service teams to ensure that there is a good understanding of costumer requirements and changing demand conditions.
B. Introduce and manage Materials Planning procedures such that there are forecasting processes in place and that supply meets demand while optimizing inventory levels. This includes the management of suppliers.
C. Ensure that site planning functions work effectively with production personnel to match supply with demand, at minimum cost and maximum efficiency.
D. Establish processes to deliver the systems required to facilitate Production Scheduling/Control, Inventory Management, and Import/Export process.
E. Ensure purchase of all raw materials and component stocks keeping inventory levels and not compromising quality and availability of components.
F. Promote pro-active customer service where the local customer service teams effectively co-ordinate supply requirements and resolve issues for all group and non-group costumers
G. Ensure that raw materials distribution to production facilities operates to effectively.
H. Ensure and champion 100% SAP material master health status for area. Power user for SAP systems, working directly of local and corporate IT to drive World Class SAP performance.
I. Be directly responsible for initiative deployment and successful execution of the following across the
• Inventory reduction
• Lean initiatives
• Supplier on-time delivery
• Customer on-time delivery
• Supplier management, scheduling, and inventory control
• Logistics efficiencies
• Elimination of process variability enterprise wide
• Production line Scheduling

K. Demonstrates an appreciation for similarities and individual differences and promotes a culture of inclusion that leverages the full potential of all employees.
L. Promotes employee satisfaction and engagement and champions the continuous improvement of year-over-year results as measured by the employee satisfaction survey.
Applies Safety and Environment principles and methodology to prevent accidents


• Bachelor Degree in engineering, administration or similar
• 5 to 7 years of experience in Production planning and programming, Supplier Management
• Experience as master scheduler is a plus
• Knowledge of Windows (Word, Excel, Access, etc.)
• Inventories, Bill of materials, MRP, MPS, Customer Orders, Shop Floor control, Purchasing, JIT
• Knowledge of Logistics, Freight Management, and Import/Export Processes
• Bilingual; Speak, write and read English and Spanish
• Ability to analyze
• Problem solution skills
• Supervision skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Knowledge of Quality Systems ISO / TS
• Knowledge of Visual Systems & Kaizen
• SAP system knowledge
• SIOP Process exposure
• Service Attitude
