Job Description

  • Maintain and monitor standard cost changes in Mapics & Global Vista .
  • New items in Mapics & Global Vista.
  • Support in preparing quarterly and annual standard costs review.
  • Audit BOM’s and routings.
  • Support and organize physical inventories, cycle counts.
  • Provide accounts in the case of inventory movements for manual transactions.
  • Audit inventory transactions, to sure are correct and appropriate.
  • Reconcile inventory accounts by source/accounts, including in transit inventories.
  • Prepare margin analysis by product line and by order in the case of special projects.
  • Conduct daily reports determining product-line sales, cost, booking, backlog and inventory.
  • Analyze MPV on purchase orders to provide the root cause analysis to find the corrective actions.
  • Analyze MUV on manufacturing orders to provide the root cause analysis and the corrective actions.
  • Assist in update information to the Encore Finance system and PLEncore,
  • Support with accurate and fully supported detail enabling Balance Sheet reviews by Divisional Controller.
  • Prepare analysis on E&O inventory to determine any risk working with operation and commercial areas.
  • Prepare warranty allowance, in order to determine impact on P&L.
  • Determine sales and cost of sales by prod line, reconciling Global Vista and Oracle.
  • Give support to commercial areas on sales & inventory issues.
  • Analyze inventory aging, to determine any possible impact on P&L.
  • Prepare monthly RPI (Review Price Index).
  • Prepare Landing Factor analysis.
  • Prepare Production hours report by each area to apply labor and overhead by project.
  • Prepare and Analyze Nonconformance report.
  • Participate in profit plan and forecast process.
  • Meet any other activity assigned by your supervisor or special requirements of the company.
  • Active participation in continues improvements programs and committees.
  • Comply the Eaton Business System (EBS), in foundations, Planning, Growth, Functional Excellence, Assessment and Learning, mainly in the Eaton Business Excellence (EBE); ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 and its tools (such as: Eaton Quality System (EQS), Eaton Lean System and Six Sigma-ELS, HR Operating Review and Employee Survey.
  • Know and comply the Policies: Global Ethics, Values and Philosophy, Management Environmental Safety and Security and Health (MESH).

  • MESH compliance and follow up of policies and goals
  • Support MESH to accomplish goals and objectives related to environment and safety
  • Support to sustain SSA for  environmental care
  • Perform MESH activities
  • Report any act or condition not safe.
  • Know and Apply operational control applicable for this position (separate and deposit in the containers common trash, recyclable paper, aluminum cans, toner empty cartridges and report any gas or water leakage.



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Administration or related field from an accredited institution required.
  • Minimum of 3 years prior Accounting, Financial Cost administration positions experience in electrical industry; or related product and manufacturing environment.
  • Must have good verbal and written communication skills in English-Spanish (90%) required.
  • Advance knowledge Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point), MAPICS, AS400, Oracle required.
  • No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate geographical area will be considered for this position.
  • The successful candidate must possess a vast knowledge of MEX/US GAAP and Mexico Fiscal Law basic requirements.
