Sales and Marketing Center (SMC) partners with multiple Eaton businesses across different geographies to deliver incremental value and drive growth by providing best in class solutions and practices through its five integral CoEs  - Sales Analytics & Market Research [SAMR], Creative CoE, Customer Services [CS], Master Data Management [MDM] and Pricing CoE. Essential Function:

  • Support in executing projects of strategic importance in the areas of Price Management.

  • Support Product Line managers, Finance teams & sales leaders in pricing processes that builds pricing sophistication and overall profitability.

  • Partner with the business, sales and pricing team to support pricing development studies aimed to improve pricing efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Provide ongoing support to various functions with the systematic use of both historical and predictive data to make informed pricing decisions.

  • Maintain tools, reporting & scorecards to track key metrics and value captured from pricing activities.

  • Identify opportunities to enhance current processes to reduce risk through effective use of price analytics.

Specialized Knowledge:

  • 2 to 4 years of pricing experience. Preferably in Manufacturing industry

  • Graduate in Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, Commerce, Economics. MBA degree (Marketing or Finance) preferred

  • Ability to manage a large amount of transactional data and determine trends up to part number level with win-loss analysis using statistical and analytical tools.

  • Working knowledge of Process Improvement tools and methodologies

  • Good organizational and time management skills, strong analytical skills and the inter-personal skills to interact with all levels of management.

  • Highly motivated individual with excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Technical proficiency in following areas is required:

  • MS – Office suite, should be very proficient with MS- Excel

  • Experience of working on BI tools like OBIEE, Cognos is an added advantage.

  • Knowledge/exposure of statistical languages and tools like SPSS, Tableau
