Direct and coordinate quality functions within facility and for assigned product line, in order to achieve team goals for quality, efficiency, productivity, and growth. Including customer communication and relationship review.
- Interact with and assist customers to resolve quality related improvements. Analysis of customer warranty cost and initiates improvement program.
Drive improvements in Eaton products and processes to support customer requirements and continuous improvement.
Provide manufacturing support in way of development and evaluation of process capability, process control plan, analysis of out-of-control conditions, and process audits.
Provide the lead in structured team problem solving and apply other problem solving tools.
Lead the development of control plans and customer PPAP preparation and approval.
Analyze cost of quality and identify and drive improvements.
Support development and achievement of quality metrics.
Participate in supplier development efforts.
Support ELSS activities and use Six Sigma tools as tool for continual improvement.
Manage and coordination of third party sort at customers (including cost analysis).
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, technical or other approved discipline.
1 to 2 years manufacturing or quality experience with a basic knowledge of blueprint reading, statistical methods, problem solving, industry quality standards, and continuous improvement tools.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing techniques and processes.
Knowledge of automotive quality standards and tools including PPAP, FMEA, MSA, 8Ds is an additional asset
Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
