This position will be responsible for coordinating, directing and supervising all production activities and work-force management in order to achieve internal and external customer expectations for Steel Wired Hose of Hydraulic Focus Factory where we are manufacturing low and medium pressure of steel wired hoses. Core Responsibilities of this role will be based on and measured with Plant Hi5 metrics as to be Safety, Quality, Productivity, OTD and Inventory. Implement continuous improvement strategy through cost out opportunity projects, WIP Inventory Control and Direct Material Consumption through BOM on products will be additional points to be accountable. This position reports to Hydraulic Focus Factory Manager.
·Operates safely and Deploy EHS LSR and MESH rules onto shop floor
·Assure quality and Implement quality control procedures to the shop floor.
·Supervise Production in order to achieve Hi5 target.
·Manage Work-Force efficiently and effectively
·Control WIP Inventory at proportional level in order to align production plans
·Control direct and indirect costs of department and align with Budget
·Ensure through training and daily audits that safe practices are constantly employed
·Implement methods and practices to achieve steady improvement in efficiency, quality, service and continuous improvement in operating profits
·Communicate and demonstrate the Eaton best practices, ethics, values and philosophy such that these cultural attributes are incorporated throughout the organization.
·Utilize problem solving technique such as global 8D, A3.
·Implement EHS and local regulatory requirements aligned with local MESH plan of plant.
·Bachelor of Science degree preferably in Engineering
·3 years’ experience in Manufacturing Environment preferably (Manufacturing Steel Wired Goods) as Lead
·Knowledge of Continuous Improvement and LEAN practices
·Team-oriented problem solving and analytical thinking
·Effective communication skills
·Strong interpersonal & communication skills to collaborate effectively
·Strong time management skills
