Global Footprint Manufacturing Lead
location: Tczew, Poland
The role conducts global manufacturing footprint studies to determine current capacity, optimal manufacturing location for new and existing products. Provides details on capital investment, floor space and head count.
The position will also provide early & sustained support in product design, development and implementation that results in VAVE savings of existing projects or provide growth with new products.
The responsibility will also involve developing bottom up costing for new products and product changes.
Finally the role will identify and develop  synergies between the (NEW) product line to enable best practice transfer and scale.  
Position reports to Senior Manager, Manufacturing, Strategy and VAVE.
Essential Functions:
  • Apply appropriate technology and project management concepts to effectively manage complex manufacturing and/or make/buy projects
  • Prepare manufacturing strategic plans to optimize manufacturing capability and the global footprint
  • Develop & utilize a standardized approach for systematic product “bottom up” costing
  • Support Supplier Selection and Business Development activities with assessments of technical capabilities and technology level
  • Support the deployment of savings programs by providing cost analysis and manufacturing details
  • Lead regional operations through manufacturing process and cost development
  • Coordinates and monitors advanced manufacturing activities across regions
  • Develop synergy roadmap


  • Bachelor's degree required in engineering or Industrial Engineering
  • Experience in engineering, manufacturing engineering, operations, supply chain management
  • Experienced in automotive or commercial vehicle segments preferred
  • Proven Leadership skills - capability to lead change in a matrix environment through cross functional teams
  • Knowledge of / experience with Project Management methodologies, processes and tools
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills – both verbal and written with ability to make necessary status reports and technical presentations to Eaton senior management
  • Strong analytical skills and business acumen
  • Broad knowledge of transmissions and/or clutches preferred
