Job Description

This position is responsible for attending the EPC contractors, Engineering firms, Distributor Network and end users for Industry market for all Argentina. With responsibility for all sales & marketing efforts at the pre-FEED, FEED and detailed design stages of projects. Commercial coordination with Latin American channel partners and strategic end users will also be critical in this role. The position works Eatonatively with Eaton Crouse-Hinds and Eaton Industries management personnel throughout all functions to effectively coordinate global EPC Oil &Gas, Chemical, Power, Mining, Commercial, etc.





Main Responsibilities:

1.Sales of Eaton products and services - This position draws upon close relationships with top management at targeted accounts to obtain significantly increased support for Eaton products, programs and services.


2.Analyzes sales levels and market conditions and initiates appropriate actions with both established customers and potential customers to ensure attainment of aggressive sales growth objectives.


3.Ensures that Eaton attains most aggressive vendor approvals and specification position possible. Implements control mechanisms (and metrics) to ensure that action plans in place for key end users, EPC’s and Distributors are executed and deliver as planned.


4.Sales Planning and Forecasting - Works with the Eaton global sales & marketing organizations to develop sales plans, forecasts and objectives for targeted strategic accounts and projects.


5.Collects and supplies pertinent market information to global sales and marketing leadership teams and ensures that Eaton teams execute account and project plans.


6.Coordinates opportunities at key accounts with other Eaton divisions.


7.Market and Product Liaison - Provides data to global management team on business trends and competitive situations.


8.Provides data to Product Managers to ensure that the Eaton product portfolio meets customer requirements.


9.This position will work with Eaton management to coordinate, develop, and implement strategies with assigned accounts as well as identify new product and product acquisition opportunities


10.Account Service - Works with top management of assigned accounts to support and devise plans and programs that will ensure long-term sales growth.


11.Ensures appropriate level of contact between Eaton leadership and top leaders of target accounts while identifying and disseminating project information on all involved project entities to other Eaton divisions


12.Pricing. Develops and implements programs to improve pricing and margins on key EPC projects and Distributors, including product mix, pricing discipline, cost reduction, value selling, and new products.


13.Facilitate pricing platforms for global E&C companies to ensure consistent pricing, product, channel strategies


14.Training - Develop innovative global sales & marketing training strategy to increase market penetration on Eaton global products and services. Included is Eaton responsibility for any structured programs or facilities developed to support key energy end-users or EPCs.


15.Conducts joint sales calls on identified projects with individual sales team members to ensure proper coverage and representation at key accounts.


16.This effort will add value to the customer relationship, will improve communication of team members, and will aid in training of sales techniques and responsibilities.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Bachelor-level degree with significant understanding of Industry Customer needs as well as industry and user standards.

  • Requires senior field sales management experience (Regional level of higher) and over 5 years of direct sales experience.

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with Senior executives of Eaton.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, excellent people skills, knowledge of

  • Understanding of sales and marketing techniques, concepts, and strategies is also necessary.

  • Extensive electrical projects experience is a must.

  • Proven experience over 3-5 years close Electrical Market

  • Have a good relationship with end users in the industry market.

  • Have 1-2 years of experience in Mining companies and 1-2 years of experience in Oil&Gas market.

  • Also must know de electrical distribution channels for each country in Argentina.

  • Bilingual – English/ Spanish
